That Robert Chambers, quite the smart guy (as I'm also learning). Best of luck fighting your biases. I'm not sure I could ever change that, which made me feel like they were saying "there's glass between us".Isabelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03540608248314142748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8802031536472367010.post-76636900023431661222008-05-28T09:03:00.000-07:002008-05-28T09:03:00.000-07:00Hi Mary, you and Chambers may be right but we as A...Hi Mary, you and Chambers may be right but we as Africans have come to understand that who pays the piper calls the tune. So in as much as you may not like it, those biases are bound to remain. It may not be the best way to experience the way of life of a people, but since you trip is being financed by someone, they would you would only see what they want you to see. May be if all tourist have a different view of coming to Ghana and Africa for that matter, with their own finance and enough time, then with a little bit of courage and confidence they would be able to see alot more than they are allowed to see.Dughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07612790521966044373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8802031536472367010.post-48983794297271639552008-04-28T17:51:00.000-07:002008-04-28T17:51:00.000-07:00Energy and water?
